ADULT-CONTROLLED SERVICE
A child may not create an Athletic Tension account, post in TTT or submit personal information independently. An adult must be at least 18 and use a verified parent or legal-guardian account. Profiles for athletes under 13 are blocked until the parent completes verified parental consent.
INFORMATION COVERED
With verified consent, we may collect the child's name, birth date, sport position and level, goals, coaching measurements and development notes. We also keep the parent's identity, contact, consent and account-security records.
LIMITED PURPOSE
We use the information only to provide the parent-requested TTT family features, coaching, account security and support. TTT does not make a child's name, direct contact information, exact home location or private development records public. Necessary providers may process information for hosting, authentication, email, payment or approved operations under confidentiality and security obligations. We do not sell child information, use it for targeted advertising or train general-purpose AI models with it.
VERIFIED PARENTAL CONSENT
Before collection, Athletic Tension sends the parent this direct notice and requires a method reasonably designed to confirm parental authority. When the service uses child information only internally and through necessary providers, verification may use a parent response followed by a delayed confirmation message or another legally accepted method. The normal profile checkbox is not the under-13 verification step. Contact kjt@athletictension.com to begin.
PARENT CHOICES
A verified parent may review the child's information, request correction or deletion, revoke consent, or refuse further collection and use. We will not require more child information than reasonably necessary for the requested service. Revocation stops future processing and removes active child data, subject only to minimal legally necessary consent, deletion and security records.
RETENTION + SECURITY
Child profiles and development data remain only while needed for the requested service or until the parent deletes them. Any previously collected video and derived analysis is removed through the portal's verified deletion controls. We use access controls, encrypted transport, private storage and audit records, and we require relevant providers to protect confidentiality and integrity.
