INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect verified account identity and contact information; contact and account preferences; calendar choices; submitted content, reports and moderation records; athlete profile, age and consent information; goals; private development records; booking, purchase, team-order, roster label, uniform size and customization records; communications; and service, device and security records. When you browse the public site, we also record privacy-safe usage analytics: pages viewed, scroll depth, buttons and links used, general device and browser type, approximate region and page performance. This uses a random identifier stored in your browser, not cookies; it is not linked to your account, name or email, we do not store IP addresses, and browsers that send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals are not measured. Connected commerce and payment providers process payment credentials. Athletic Tension does not store complete card numbers.
WHY WE USE IT
We use information to authenticate members, operate account, calendar and member features, verify organizations, moderate abuse, provide coaching, manage bookings and purchases, communicate service or security status, prevent misuse, comply with law, understand which pages and features are useful, and improve reliability. We do not use private athlete content to train general-purpose artificial-intelligence models without separate, explicit permission.
RETENTION SCHEDULE
Active profile and goal data, along with any previously collected video, analysis and report data, remains until the account owner deletes it or closes the account. Deleting a video removes its private file and derived analysis; deleting an athlete removes the profile and connected development data. Failed upload objects are removed during upload cleanup. Minimal consent, deletion, security, transaction and audit records may be retained for up to seven years when needed to document authority, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, meet tax or legal duties, or preserve system integrity. Operational security logs and site usage analytics are generally retained for no more than 24 months. Backup copies, if present, are isolated from normal use and expire through provider backup cycles.
CHILDREN + TEEN ATHLETES
Minors may not create their own Athletic Tension account or post independently. A parent or legal guardian controls profiles and participation for an athlete under 18. Athletic Tension does not permit public posting of a minor's direct contact information, exact home location or private development records. Before Athletic Tension collects or processes information for a child under 13, the parent must complete the verified-consent process described in the Children's Privacy Notice.
YOUR CONTROLS
Account owners can correct profile information and delete owned videos, athlete profiles or the account from Account settings. A verified parent may review a child's information, revoke consent, refuse further collection, or request deletion. For access, correction, deletion, consent or privacy questions, email kjt@athletictension.com. We may verify identity and authority before acting.
SECURITY + INCIDENTS
We use private object storage, access controls, authenticated sessions, encrypted transport, rate limits, audit trails and deletion controls. No service can promise absolute security. If a qualifying breach occurs, Athletic Tension will investigate, contain it and provide legally required notice without unreasonable delay. The service is operated in the United States.
CHANGES + CONTACT
